The Can-IIHSS
A Canadian integrated platform for injury and concussion prevention, early intervention, and mental health
This project funded by CIHR aims to understand the incidence and risk factors of injuries, concussions and mental health challenges among varsity athletes in Canada. The research program is a collaboration between 20 universities across Canada with the ultimate goal to develop prevention and management solutions.

Understanding the Context for Concussion Prevention in Youth Sport: Socio-cultural and Psychological Barriers
This project funded by SSHRC aims to understand the psychological and socio-cultural barriers, facilitators, and experiences associated with introducing/implementing concussion prevention initiatives in youth community sport from the perspectives of the sport administrators and youth community coaches.

Injury Experience and Concussions in Blind Ice Hockey
This research program aims to understand injuries in athletes who have a visual impairment. There is a focus to understand how to better identify, manage, and prevent concussions in athletes with visual impairments to enhance sport participation.

Injury Surveillance and Prevention in Youth Sport
This research program aims to partner with organizations and youth who are interested in better understanding what injuries occur in their sport and identifying unique ways to prevent and manage them.
