Amanda's research spans the lab's core domains of injury surveillance and epidemiology, evidence-based practice and knowledge translation, and theory-driven implementation, behaviour change and evaluation.

Carley's research investigates social support during athletes' sport-related concussion rehabilitation and its influence on athletes' readiness to return to sport. She also examines strategies for the implementation of injury prevention initiatives in youth, varsity, and para sport athlete populations.​​

Caroline’s research investigates injury in Canadian university athletes, with a focus on how factors like sex, gender identity, playing position, exposure time, and playing surface influence injury risk and prevention behaviors. She also examines how gendered environments, such as societal norms, coaching practices, and team cultures, impact athlete’s engagement with injury prevention. ​

Jeffrey’s research focuses on measuring head impact biomechanics and exposure in sports, with an emphasis on reducing head impact exposure, particularly in youth and female athletes.

Norman's research examined the relationship between postural control deficits and functional changes within the brain following concussion. He is now assisting the concussion care clinic under the Can-IIHS project.​

Anna is a second year Masters of Science student in Applied Health Sciences at Brock University in St. Catharine's, Ontario, Canada and is a part of the Injury Prevention, Clinical Intervention, and Implementation Science lab (I3 lab). She is also a student member of the Concussion in Para Sport Group. Her research interests include concussion management for athletes with disabilities, and her current work aims to improve concussion assessment and rehabilitation for athletes with visual impairments.

Muskan currently works with Brock Sports Medicine in leading the Concussion Care Lab, completing assessments and return-to-sport protocols for concussed varsity athletes. She also engages with the Can-IIHS project. Her thesis will focus on head acceleration measures in women’s ice hockey.

Nicola’s thesis research focuses on examining the role of race in the concussion experiences of Black youth athletes in Canada. She also contributed as a research assistant to the Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) project.

Mikayla is currently working on data collection and video analysis.

Saige is currently working on data collection and video analysis for the USPORTS Men’s Ice Hockey Equipment study. She is looking at the prevalence of cage hang and neck guard use behaviours amoungst all men’s hockey teams within USPORTS throughout the 2024-25 season. Her goal is to provide valuable information for policy decisions regarding facial protection and neck guard use in varsity men’s ice hockey.

Lucy is an Undergraduate Honours Thesis student studying Cervical Neuromechanical Function in Varsity Rugby Athletes, with a specialization in how those measures relate to concussion. Lucy will be contributing to baseline data collection, tracking injuries and concussions in-season, and examining changes in cervical neuromechanical function from pre-season to post-season.
